Refunds

We cannot reverse a confirmed crypto payment. The money is already in the shop’s wallet.

USDC on Solana: the shop taps Refund on that sale. The till prepares a send back to the buyer who paid, for the amount they choose, up to what is left. The shop approves it in their own wallet. TillUPay does not hold a key and does not sign it. Closing the screen sends nothing. The invoice notes the refund.

SOL, Base, XRP, and XLM: there is no reverse button. If the shop wants to give it back, they send it from that same wallet. A destination tag or memo has to match what the exchange or wallet expects.

Card refunds and disputes are Stripe’s. PayPal refunds are PayPal’s. We are not in the middle of that money.
