How they pay
One till. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or crypto. We never hold the sale.
Most buyers never open a crypto wallet.
- 1Staff tap the items.
- 2The buyer pays on their phone.
- 3The money goes to the shop. Not to TillUPay.
Card
- Apple Pay and Google Pay use the same card checkout.
- They pay the till price on their phone.
- Stripe’s rate plus TillUPay’s 0.1% in that checkout.
- It lands in the shop’s Stripe account.
- Payout is Stripe’s timetable.
- No wallet. No app download from TillUPay.
PayPal
- They pay the till price.
- PayPal’s fee plus TillUPay’s 0.1% on the later bill.
- It lands in the shop’s PayPal.
- No wallet.
Crypto
- SOL or USDC on Solana.
- 100% of that crypto goes to the shop wallet the same day.
- TillUPay bills 1.5% later in USDC. Not taken off the sale.
- The amount uses a live price and locks for about 30 seconds.
- They scan the till with their camera. That opens the pay page. Then they tap Open wallet, or pay by card.
- They pay from Phantom or Solflare after Open wallet.
If the wallet doesn’t open
- If Open wallet fails, the pay page still shows the address and amount to copy, or they pay by card.
What the shop sees
- One QR, or one pay screen, for that sale.
- The crypto amount uses a live price and locks for about 30 seconds.
- If it expires, staff press Refresh. The dollar total stays. The old code does not pay the new sale.
- An invoice for each sale. Download it.
- Tax is a tick in Edit shop. Off unless the shop turns it on.
