About

You only pay after a customer pays you. They pay you. We never hold the sale. Crypto: 100% to your wallet, same day. Invoice for the accountant.

Operator in Australia. Zachary. info@tillupay.com

Mission

Shops get paid. We never hold it.

Square and the banks rent you a till, then sit on the money. TillUPay is the opposite.

Crypto: 100% to your wallet, same day. Card and PayPal: they pay you — their cut, their payout. Invoice for the accountant. We are a till, not a bank, not a tax agent, not a custodian.

For the shop

They pay you. We never hold it.

Open a shop. Paste your wallet. Staff tap the items. One QR. Crypto is in your wallet the same day. Card and PayPal go to your accounts — not a TillUPay balance.

Set up

  • First: shop name, Solana wallet, a product to start. Then the till is open. Add more in the menu.
  • Country from your device. You can change it. Currency follows unless you pick one. Shop prices: USD, AUD, EUR, GBP, CAD, NZD.
  • Tax is always a tick. Off unless you turn it on. Then that country’s retail rate and invoice title. We never turn tax on for you. Do this in Edit shop.
  • Your trading name. Business ID optional. It goes on your invoice. Ours never does.
  • Solana wallet for SOL / USDC. Connect Phantom or paste the address. Base wallet in Edit shop if you take ETH or Base USDC. Only the owner can change a wallet.
  • Card needs your card account connected. PayPal needs your PayPal email. Both are later, not day one.
  • Owner, manager, staff. Manager changes the menu. Staff take sales. Only you move the wallet.

A sale

  • Staff tap the items. One QR. The crypto amount uses a live price and locks for about 30 seconds.
  • Crypto: 100% of that asset to your wallet. Same day. We never touch it.
  • Card / Apple Pay / Google Pay: they pay the price on the till. Their company takes their cut from it. We take 0.1% from it in that checkout. What’s left goes to your card account. Payout is theirs — not same-day from us.
  • PayPal: they pay you. PayPal takes their cut. We add 0.1% on our bill later.
  • A4 invoice each sale. Tax invoice only if tax is on. They download it. We do not send the email for you. Till Credit never appears on it.

What you owe us

  • Crypto: 1.5% billed later in USDC. Not taken off the sale. You click. We do not auto-debit.
  • PayPal: 0.1% on that same bill, on top of PayPal’s fee.
  • Card 0.1% is already taken in the card checkout. It is not on this bill.
  • Till Credit: shop loyalty. $0–$99.99 of fees paid this period is 0%. Bronze 5% from $100. Silver 10% from $500. Gold 20% from $2,500. Off the next bill as invoice credit. Not cash. Not a rewards scheme. Customer never sees it.
  • Need dollars? Your wallet → a local exchange → your bank. We do not convert. Australian shops: four steps on Cash out.
Open a shop

For the buyer

Scan. See the price. Pay this shop.

No TillUPay account. You are not paying us. You are paying this shop.

What you do

  • They scan the till with their camera. That opens the pay page. Then they tap Open wallet, or pay by card.
  • You see the price in their currency. Crypto shows the locked amount as well.
  • That crypto amount stays still for about 30 seconds. If it expires, ask staff to refresh. The dollar price does not change.
  • They pay from Phantom or Solflare after Open wallet. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal are on that page too.
  • If the wallet doesn’t open: copy the address and amount on the pay page, or pay by card.
  • Done. Download the invoice if you want it.

What that means

  • Crypto goes to the shop’s wallet. We never hold it.
  • Card and PayPal go to the shop’s accounts. Not a TillUPay balance.
  • USDC refunds: the shop taps Refund and approves the send in their own wallet. We do not sign it. Other crypto is not reversible from here.

For crypto

Straight to the shop wallet.

On the till

  • SOL or USDC goes to the shop’s Solana wallet. They pay from Phantom or Solflare after Open wallet.
  • Base: ETH or USDC, if the shop saved a Base address.
  • Live price. Locked about 30 seconds. Refresh keeps the dollar total and makes a new code. No price, no crypto pay.

For commercial investors

The till is the company.

Equity, a partnership, a shop roll-out — email us. This page is not an offer of securities. Not financial advice.

The product

  • Software till. Crypto to the shop wallet. Card to the shop’s card account. PayPal to the shop’s email.
  • We never hold shop funds. Not a bank, exchange, or payout company.
  • Six shop currencies. Tax optional, country-aware when ticked. Staff roles. Books. Shop-issued invoices.

How we get paid

The shop list above. Nothing else.

Why this shape

  • Holding the money is the expensive part. We refused it. That is the shop pitch: they pay you, we never hold it.
  • Card is optional so a shop is not crypto-only. Card money sits with their card company, not us.
  • The till still works if nobody pays in crypto.

What we will not say

  • No revenue forecast. No “buy a coin to own the till.”
  • No claim that card is same-day into the shop’s bank.
  • No claim we email invoices, convert crypto, or act as a tax agent.

Tax

Your invoice. Not ours.

We print the invoice. You lodge the tax. We are a till, not a tax agent, BAS agent, or CPA. This is not tax advice.

The tick

  • Tax is off unless you turn it on in Edit shop. We never turn it on for you.
  • Not every shop is GST / VAT registered. That’s why it’s a tick, not automatic.
  • Country comes from your device. You can change it. If you tick tax, we use one stored rate for that country, included in the price. It is not every local tax. Check the number before you tick it.
  • Australia: GST 10%, split is total × 10/11 and 1/11. Same idea for other countries’ rates.

The invoice

  • Issued by your shop. Your trading name. Your business ID if you typed one (ABN, VAT, EIN…).
  • TillUPay’s ABN is never on the shop invoice. Loyalty / Till Credit never appears on it.
  • Tax on: title is “Tax invoice” (GST countries) or “VAT invoice”. Tax off or a zero-rate country: “Invoice”.
  • Every sale can be downloaded. We do not email it for you. Buyer can type an email on the pay screen to keep a copy.

What we do not do

  • US state sales tax, county tax, or nexus. US rate on the till is 0. You handle that if you must.
  • Canada HST / PST / QST. We only offer federal GST 5% if you tick tax in Canada.
  • Reduced food rates, exemptions, or “is this GST-free.” One rate, or off.
  • Lodge your BAS, VAT return, or crypto capital gains. Books can export CSV for the accountant. They still file it.
  • Hold the money, convert crypto to dollars, or put our name on as the merchant of the sale.

Our software bill (separate)

  • That’s TillUPay charging you. Not the customer’s coffee.
  • AUD bills are GST-inclusive when we charge GST. That GST is on our fee invoice, not on the shop sale invoice.
  • You pay that bill later in USDC. 1.5%. We do not take it off the sale. We do not auto-debit.

If your accountant needs something this till doesn’t print, they should say so. We won’t pretend we’re software for every tax office on earth.

FAQ

Questions shops actually ask.

Short answers. The till is the product.

If you sell

Where does the money go?Read more

Crypto goes 100% to your wallet, same day. Card goes to your Stripe. PayPal to your PayPal. Not a TillUPay balance.

When does the money land?Read more

Crypto: the same day, in your wallet. Not a payout from us. Card: Stripe pays your Stripe account, on Stripe’s timetable. PayPal: PayPal’s timetable. We do not run a payout.

What are the fees?Read more

Crypto: 1.5% invoiced after a confirmed sale, in USDC. You send it. We do not take it off the payment. Card: Stripe’s fee, plus a 0.1% Stripe application fee in that checkout. PayPal: their fee, plus 0.1% on the later bill.

Do you hold my money?Read more

No. We are a till, not a bank. Crypto never sits with us. Card and PayPal sit with those companies, in your account.

Do I need a Solana wallet?Read more

Only for SOL or USDC on Solana. Paste that address or connect Phantom. Card and PayPal do not need a wallet. XRP, XLM, and Base each need their own address, and only if you turn them on.

What if they don’t have crypto?Read more

They pay with card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal — if you’ve turned those on. They do not need a TillUPay account or a Solana wallet.

How long to set up?Read more

Minutes. Shop name, wallet, a product to start — then add as many as you want. Pictures: tillupay.com/guide. Tax, card, PayPal, staff, and the website button are later, in Edit shop.

When can I take cards?Read more

After you connect your card account. Stripe will ask for ID. That can take a day. Until then, crypto still works.

What if their wallet doesn’t open?Read more

Copy the address and amount on the pay page, or pay by card.

Do they need SOL as well as USDC?Read more

On Solana, yes, a little SOL in their wallet for the network fee. TillUPay does not take that fee. USDC is the payment. SOL only moves the payment.

What if the order is wrong?Read more

USDC: tap Refund on that sale. It prepares a send back to the buyer who paid. You approve it in your wallet. We never sign it and we never hold it. You can refund part of what is left. Other crypto: we cannot reverse the chain. Send it back from that wallet if you choose. Card goes through Stripe. PayPal through PayPal.

Do I need a card terminal?Read more

No. They scan the till with their camera. That opens the pay page. Then they tap Open wallet, or pay by card. We are not Square.

Is tax on automatically?Read more

No. Tax is a tick in Edit shop. Off unless you turn it on. Then one stored rate for that country, included in the price, on a shop-issued invoice. It is not every local tax. We never turn it on for you. We are not your tax agent.

Whose name is on the invoice?Read more

The shop’s. Your trading name and your business ID if you typed one. TillUPay’s ABN is never on the customer invoice. Tax invoice / VAT invoice only if tax is on. Otherwise it’s just Invoice.

Do you lodge GST or VAT for me?Read more

No. Books can export a CSV for the accountant. You still file BAS / VAT / crypto gains. We don’t do US state sales tax or Canadian HST — only a standard rate if you tick it, or off.

Can I put this on my website?Read more

Yes. Copy a shop link (they pick or type an amount) or a product link (that item, that price). Paste a Pay button. Not a Shopify cart. Their shipping stays theirs.

Who else uses this?Read more

Early shops. We won’t fake logos. If you want to be one, open a till.

If you pay

Do I need a TillUPay account?Read more

No. That’s for the shop. You scan, see the price, pay this shop.

Who am I paying?Read more

The shop on the screen. Not TillUPay. Crypto goes to their wallet. Card to their Stripe. PayPal to their PayPal.

Card or crypto?Read more

Either, if the shop turned it on. No wallet? Use card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Crypto is optional.

Do I get a receipt?Read more

Yes. Download the invoice on the pay screen. The shop can put your email on it. We don’t email it for you.

What we are not

  • Not a bank, exchange, tax agent, or custodian.
  • We do not hold cash or convert crypto for you.
  • Your tax number goes on your invoice. Not ours.
